Let Them Do | Opening Reception

  • Parse Seco 487 State Rd 150 Arroyo Seco, NM United States (map)

Parse Seco in conjunction with VANS sneakers presents:
LET THEM DO
July 5 - July 29

An exhibition of 10 artists, each who have been given a size 16 blank canvas Vans Authentic Skate Shoes to do what they want with. Artists have been encouraged to interact with their community and create designs and build complimentary installations that pay tribute to the art scenes they come out of. Throughout the month there will be a silent auction for each piece to fundraise towards the DreamTree Project in an effort to let children have the chance to be children.

LET THEM DO will document the process of 10 artists creating dynamic designs and installations from the galleries they call home and their journey to transport their art to Parse Seco in Taos, New Mexico.

This a state wide effort to raise funds for at risk youth at DreamTree Project.
Join us for the opening reception and if the shoe fits, please bid on it!
